Welcome, Potential Members of Phi Beta Kappa!



This registration process is for students and recent graduates who have been elected to join the Phi Beta Kappa Society and have been instructed in their election letters to sign up online. On the next two pages you will be asked to provide information about yourself for our national membership database.

You must be elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa by the chapter where you received your bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. degree. We must receive confirmation from the chapter before you can be registered as a member of the Society. If your chapter requires any additional action on your part, such as paying an initiation fee, it must be completed before the chapter will approve your record of membership.

Entering this information means you are accepting the invitation to join Phi Beta Kappa. It is equivalent to signing your name on a registration card. If you have any questions about membership in Phi Beta Kappa, please contact the chapter that invited you to join the society.
