Brevin Franklin is a current sophomore at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He is majoring in Economics with a minor in Environmental Science. He is a Sondheim Scholar, a distinction that signifies his interest in Public Policy as well as public service. His academic interesta center around the interactions between economics, environment, and history. He alternates semesters volunteering at the Esperanza Center in Baltimore and VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) at UMBC. Post-graduation, he has aspirations of being a research economist for a federal agency like the EPA. In his off time, he enjoys watching documentaries, reading, and playing the clarinet.
