Katherine Andrea Marin is a third-year student at the University of Florida Honors Program, studying English Literature, US History, and Latino Studies. Katherine is an active member of the Bob Graham Center for Public Service Student Fellows and the Reitz Scholars Program. She also conducts research on social movements, labor rights, and Latino diasporas with the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program at UF through a Reubin Askew Scholarship. Her academic interests surround the Latino electorate and immigration policies during the Trump and Biden administrations, including the misuse of Title 42, ICE detention center conditions, and the 'Remain in Mexico' policy. In the past, she has interned at the American Civil Liberties Union, the Democratic National Committee, and the Supreme Court of Florida. She is originally from Miami, Florida.
