Olivia Negro is a rising senior at Ursinus College who majors in politics with a minor in educational studies and a teaching certificate in social studies. At Ursinus, Olivia is a member of a national service-learning program named the Bonner Leaders; as a Bonner, Olivia completes 300 hours of community service and training. Through the Bonner program, Olivia has worked closely with several local community service organizations that range in focus from disability empowerment to environmental policy action and homelessness. Olivia developed a deep interest in local and state politics while she interned for State Senator Maria Collett in May 2019. Additionally, Olivia loves learning about international politics by participating in Model UN and has been a passionate "MUNer" for six years. She served as head delegate to the 2021-2022 Ursinus delegation to the National Model UN Conference in New York City, where the delegation won a distinguished delegation award.
