Ruthie Kesri is a rising junior at Duke University studying Political Science and Global Health. Her interests include criminal justice reform and the national security implications of conflict resolution. She is driven to identify opportunities where US foreign policy can be oriented to addressing abuses of human rights, combating the climate crisis, and strengthening global equality. On campus, Ruthie is a part of the Baldwin Scholars program, leads the Duke-UNICEF club and Duke's Cyber Team, and is Chair of the Duke Program in American Grand Strategy Student Council. Ruthie is originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky. After graduation, Ruthie intends to pursue a Juris Doctorate degree in preparation for her career in public service.
