Sam Douds is a rising Junior at Bucknell University, studying political science, history, and Spanish. In his role as the Executive President of Bucknell Student Government, Douds advocates for a better, more equitable campus community for all students. Douds is also a Presidential Fellow at Bucknell, doing research on the incarcerated experience in Pennsylvania, specifically as it relates to incarceration algorithms. He is also the President and founder of the Bison Triathlon Club, a group organized to provide students with space to build community around fitness. In the past Douds worked as an Editorial Assistant for the Gettysburg Times and participated in the Summer Honors Program at the American Enterprise Institute. Douds hopes to use his liberal arts education to pursue a career as a Judge Advocate General or as a Foreign Service Officer.
