Gabrielle Harris studies Comparative Women's Studies and Political Science as a rising third-year student at Spelman College, where she is active with the Ethel Waddell Githii Honors Program and Social Justice Program on campus. Gabrielle serves as the Secretary of the Honors Program Student Association, works as a fellow for Spelman cohort of the YWCA's Georgia Women's Policy Institute, and volunteers as a mentor and tutor for Atlanta Public School students through organizations Grl Pwr and Raising Expectations. This past summer, Gabrielle interned at Virginia Organizing as a Richmond organizing intern and as a Young Scholar Researcher at the African American Policy Forum. Driven by the power of community, she aspires to devote her career to improving life outcomes for Black women and their families through law and policy. After graduation, she intends to earn a Juris Doctor and pursue a fulfilling career as a policymaker and attorney. Gabrielle is originally from Richmond, Virginia.
