Buffet Menu: Caesar salad, pasta with marinara sauce and sausage, pasta Alfredo with chicken, baked vegetable ziti, garlic bread, dessert tray, and iced tea, coffee, or a soft drink. Cash bar for alcoholic drinks.

Meet and Greet: 11:45 a.m.
Lunch: 12:00 noon

Speaker —Kyle Schlachter, Executive Director, Colorado Wine Industry Development Board

Before being appointed as the CWIDB’s third executive director in July 2023, Kyle Schlachter spent 13 years as its marketing coordinator. In 2017 he was recognized for his efforts by Wine Enthusiast magazine as one of the top 40 Under-40 Tastemakers in the industry. Prior to working for the CWIDB, he worked at a small wine and spirits retailer for several years while in graduate school where he also taught math and science courses at The Women’s College of DU and at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. As a writer about the wine industry, his work has been published in some of the industry’s most prestigious wine publications, including Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Sommelier Journal. In 2017 he was elected to a two-year term as an at-large Littleton city council member and in 2021 he was elected as the city’s first directly elected mayor.
