Kristina Richardson, the John L. Nau III Professor of the History and Principles of Democracy and Professor of History and Middle Eastern & South Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Virginia, will visit Emory University on November 7-8, 2024. Professor Richardson's lecture, "A History of Slavery and Racial Capitalism in the Islamic Indian Ocean", will be held on Thursday, November 7 at 4:00pm in the Oxford Road Building Presentation Room, 3rd Floor. The lecture is free and open to the public.
