The Agnes Scott College Board of Trustees has announced its selection of Leocadia (Lee) I. Zak as the ninth president of the college. Zak graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Mount Holyoke College in 1979, which also recognized her as a Woman of Influence in 2012.

“I want to set the expectations for young women that they have the ability, knowledge, and intellectual curiosity that will allow them to become members of Phi Beta Kappa.”
