Key Connections offers an opportunity for new Phi Beta Kappa Society members to connect with other members across the country. Throughout September and October, our alumni associations will host happy hours, career panels, and other networking events for new members. This is a great opportunity for members to familiarize themselves with their local association and network with other PBK members.

Sunday, September 8—Maine Association

The Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Maine invites local members to visit to the Portland Museum of Art Jeremy Frey “Woven” exhibit on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Register here.

Thursday, September 12—Northern New England Association

Members are invited to join the ΦΒΚ Northern New England Alumni Association at the Queen City Brewery and Pizza 44 for an evening of conversation, connection, food, and excellent local beer and non-alocholic beverages on Thursday, September 12, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Register here.

Saturday, September 14—Omaha Association

Phi Beta Kappa members are invited to attend a catered family friendly picnic with the Omaha Alumni Association of ΦΒΚ on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow ΦΒΚ alums and enjoy outdoor activities at McCarthy Quarry Ridge. Sunday, September 15—Austin Association

Join the Austin Alumni Association of Phi Beta Kappa for a wine tasting hosted at Wanderlust Wine Co. on Barton Springs on Sunday, September 15 at 3:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet members, learn about the association, and enjoy a 3-flight wine selection and charcuterie board. Tuesday, September 17—Chicago Association

Join the Chicago Alumni Association at the Kerryman in River North on Tuesday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. for a panel discussion focused on networking best practices. Following the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to put what they learned into action by networking with other young alumni. Register here.

Friday, September 20—Kentuckiana Association

Join the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Kentuckiana for a tour of the historic Louisville Water Tower and the accompanying WaterWorks Museum. Those who work up a thirst are invited to gather afterward at Apocalypse Brew Works. Register here.

Friday, September 20—Baltimore Association

Sunday, September 22—Detroit Association

Join the Phi Beta Kappa Greater Detroit Alumni Association at a picnic potluck at the covered pavilion in Normandy Oaks Park in Royal Oak, MI on September 22 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Food and beverages will be provided. Monday, October 14—Lowcountry Association

This year, the Lowcountry Phi Beta Kappa Association will host a two-part Key Connections event on Monday, October 14, starting with happy hour and networking at Gage Hall followed by a haunted jail tour at Old City Jail. Register here.

Thursday, October 17—Delaware Valley Association

Join the Delaware Valley Association on October 17 at 6:30 p.m. to enlarge your network of members from Southeast PA, South Jersey, and Northern DE.
